Paul's writing to Timothy in the sixth chapter addresses wealth and money. Many of us would look at our bank accounts and our possessions and determine that Paul was addressing rich people, so he must not be talking to us. Paul admonishes Timothy to guard against relying on uncertain wealth, but that same advice applies to us. We must not invest our eternity in things that are temporal but must instead place our trust and hope in the One who will never leave nor forsake us. We must be wary of uncertain riches.
