How'd We Get Here? - Hebrews 4:14-16: What does it mean to be a priest? There are so many legacies from the Reformation that shape us, but few are as important (and often misunderstood) as the concept of 'the priesthood of the believer.' This weekend we will focus on the wonder of God's gift to us in Jesus and how we have direct access to the Father through Him. But we'll also see how this access changes our approach to our daily lives: we will talk about how we are called to be priests to those God brings across our path, and what that means post-reformation. I'm praying that this weekend will lead us to a deeper experience with God and a deeper understanding of how that “experience” is to be extended to others.
