"Is the tree of the field a man, to go into the siege before you?" Torah asks us. Or does it? Is this a question or a statement? Is a man like a tree? Or is a tree like a man? Is a tree a meaning filled, independent entity created by G-d? Or is a tree an extension of man's wants and necessities?
