We are an international family of churches working together to see thousands of lives transformed through hundreds of churches in tens of nations. Here you'll find audio from various Commission events, including Westpoint 2017.

This seminar will explore how to turn love into action and join in with God’s mission right where we are, in our churches and surrounding communities.
God made us each unique. We have our own personalities, skills and passions, and God has a purpose for each of our lives. This talk will be looking at how the things that YOU are passionate about can be used by God to fulfil HIS purposes, both in you and through you, when you are ALL IN for Him
By being all in for Jesus, we declare with our lives that He is worth it, no matter the cost. We will consider what it means to die to self and live for Christ, hear testimony about surrendering to the Lord, and prayerfully consider parts of our own lives that God may be asking us to change to be all in for Jesus.Click the link below for the seminar handout: https://tinyurl.com/3ssx54s2
Does God speak to us personally? If so, how? What part does prophecy play in this? John will address these questions and open up the subject of guidance.
Guy and Heather lead Commission alongside Vinu and Julie Paul. They are based at Westminster Chapel in London. Joseph is one of our Old Testament hero’s whose journey to feed the world is marked by rejection, attack and betrayal yet all the way through his story, Joseph was ‘all in’ for God. We want at CST, to call a Joseph generation to dream big in these last days to reach a lost world. Combining his story with our own we want to encourage you to be ‘all in’ for Christ.
30% of the world's population live in unreached spaces - they will probably never hear about Jesus. Come and hear stories and meet people who are church planting among unreached people, and find out how to get involved.
Teaching Truth: Unleashing the power of scripture in children’s ministryChildren today are bombarded by catchy content and impressive influencers - but where does the Bible fit in?Today’s culture is a mess of confusing opinions and fluctuating truth, our children are bombarded by catchy content and impressive influencers while their bibles are often left dusty and unread on the shelf. That is why this conference is all about Teaching Truth.
How do you feel about your Kids team as a whole? Is it united in purpose, dependence on God, love and message or is it divided, out-of-sync and going in different directions? Kids ministry with its ever-revolving door of volunteers and a mash-up of different gifts can lend itself to be the latter! In this seminar, we explore Paul's teaching to the Corinthian church about our calling to be a united team of servers in partnership with God.

We know that mental health is a real issue for our children. But how do we apply the truth of the gospel to these situations? We'll be considering how we best support those struggling, as well as how we spiritually form our children as they grow up in a world in mental health crisis.

The world floods the imaginations of our children. How can we help our children to understand the world around them through popular culture? In this seminar, we discuss a music video to equip ourselves with some skills that we can use as parents and children’s leaders.
It is easy to think of under 5s groups as a time to play or "getting them used to church" but with carefully chosen stories and well-pitched, engaging Bible teaching, your ministry to this age group could become a vital, exciting frontline in your church's mission to see lives changed, as we introduce families to Christ. Listen to gain a practical toolbox of skills, leaving you inspired and empowered in this ministry.
Intergenerational services are when everyone loses, right? It's not fun for kids and there's no meat for grown-ups. So why bother? In this seminar we share a biblical vision for all-age church and explore how it's possible to learn from scripture together so that everyone wins. Listen and be equipped to teach everyone together.

After 17 years of neverpraying for anyone to be healed, hear about a biblestudy that led to a public, evangelistic, healing ministrywith physical healing as a sign to the unbeliever thatJesus is alive.
www.commissionfestival.comIn recent times prophets and prophecy are in danger offalling into disrepute or being marginalised. Health and Care is the biggest sector represented in Commission. How much more could we achieve for the kingdom if we were better connected to each other? Hear from fellow workers in health and care who will be sharing how their faith impacts their work and join us in an interactive workshop to design the first ‘Commission Community’, reaching across our family of churches to all those involved in health and care.
In order to transform the world and the life of the church, we need churches pulsating with God’s presence and overflowing with spiritual gifts. How do we release spiritual gifts in our meetings without getting weird? How do we use spiritual gifts every day and everywhere without freaking people out? Come and explore these, and similar questions, with particular attention being given to the gifts of prophecy and tongues.
Josh (son) and Will (father) will share a reliving of Luke 15 in song, testimonies, and prayer. Come from the ‘distant country’. Prepare for the party. Experience the joy of God’s amazing grace. Open to all. Reignite faith for the return of your own prodigals.
In this seminar Martin will use his experience leading Jubilee+ to give an overview of the big challenges and amazing opportunities facing churches at this crucial time in national life and in world mission.
Many Christians lack confidence in their ability to speak positively and biblically on matters around gender fluidity and same-sex attraction. In a culture increasingly hostile to the Bible’s teaching in these areas, it’s important we can respond both with truth and kindness to people in these circumstances. Christian silence simply allows the media to dictate societal attitudes and misses opportunities to share the Bible’s good news with the marginalised.
We have a Great Commission from Jesus to 'make disciples of all nations' but sometimes the culture of church and the way faith is lived out can put off the very people we are called to reach. Is there a better way? This seminar will look at how to develop a culture both in our churches and in our lives that will help us more effectively reach people from our increasingly broken world with the love of Jesus.
We will explore the cultural dynamics of honour and shame in Scripture, dynamics which we can often miss as Western readers. Why was Boaz’ acceptance of Ruth so significant? What did it cost Joseph to marry pregnant Mary? How does the cross of Jesus Christ deal with our shame? What are the pastoral implications of broadening our gospel language to include honour and shame? How can we share the gospel with our friends, who think more about shame than about guilt and as Western readers of Scripture, engage with these issues?
Is the Kingdom of God about social action, signs and wonders, both or more? In his book, Kingdom Conspiracy, Scott McKnight argues that ‘Kingdom’ is the biblical term most misused by Christians today. Scott offers a sizzling biblical corrective and radical vision for the role of the local church in the kingdom of God. Through a presentation, panel discussion and Q&A, this seminar is designed to stimulate and model healthy theological debate.
This seminar will explore what the bible says about the two kingdoms that operate in this world: the Kingdom of God and the Dominion of Darkness. This practical seminar will teach you how to avoid Satan’s schemes, escape from his traps and break his hold on people’s lives! You’ll leave equipped for the spiritual battles you are in.
Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers: Who? What? When? How? Why? The charismatic movement of the 1960’s came from renewed faith that the vibrancy of the New Testament Church could be experienced today but it required the leadership gifts listed in Ephesians 4. Out of his vast experience of leading, identifying and nurturing teams, David will share what these gifts bring to the church today and how they equip us to serve the Kingdom of God in wider society as well as in the church.
This workshop is geared at those who work with young people, aiming to raise awareness of the state of mental health in our young people. We will look at what this looks like and what we as people on the frontline can and should be doing about it.
The four gospels make clear that the message and ministry of Jesus was centred on the Kingdom but Tom Wright argues we often miss the main thing they are most eager to tell us. The surprising, unexpected and shocking news of the gospels is the story of a new king, and a king who invites us to be part of his new world. Through a presentation, panel discussion and Q&A, this seminar is designed to stimulate and model healthy theological debate.
Jesus said and did some amazing things, and over time he trained his team of apostles to say similar words and to do similar works and wonders. How can we learn from their story and advance the kingdom of God by doing the same things today?
“Blessed are the peacemakers”... so is conflict with others OK for Christians? How do we balance ‘turning the other cheek’ with strength of character and being able to speak up when needed? Facing conflict in life is inevitable and this seminar is for everyone who wants to feel more comfortable with it!
What would your life look like without fear? The journey from fear to faith is one that we all face at various times in our lives. Come and feed your faith by hearing personal stories of breakthrough, along with lessons learnt and biblical insights. This seminar will help equip you, or those you care for in moving forwards in your journey from fear to faith.
Jesus said, “This, then, is how you should pray ... your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven”. That sounds important but what does it mean? This seminar will explore the tensions, mysteries, challenges and opportunities produced by the conviction that the Kingdom of God is both now and not yet. Be prepared to have your faith expanded as we become more effective Kingdom-bringing children of God every day and everywhere
What does a healthy identity look like in the Kingdom of God? Have we really laid all of ourselves down at the cross, or are we living a ‘Jesus-plus’ identity? In this seminar, we’ll explore some of the temptations that can attack our true identity in Jesus, including appetite, approval and ambition. Beryl & Kieran Grogan (Westminster Chapel) will share how they have sought to keep Jesus at the centre throughout normal life with some significant trials.
The use of social media is prevalent in today’s society and has an impact on family life. We’ll be using various parts of Paul’s Letters to guide an honest and practical look at marriage through the eyes of three couples at very different stages of life. Ben and Nancy Martin (married 5 years), Eugene and Jodie Engelbrecht (married 11 years) and Robin and Anna Willison (married 36 years). This certainly won’t be a how-to guide but an opportunity to reflect on the foundations of what makes a marriage work - so, there will be plenty of interaction with exercises to stimulate thought and conversation.
God’s purpose has always been the same. Starting in Genesis and restated throughout history; He is the King and He wants all to know Him. Jesus then instructs the church to play their part in the Great Commission and we can now play our part as we work together to see thousands of lives transformed through hundreds of churches in tens of nations. Come and be stirred again and reminded that we are on Jesus’ Mission together.
We are called to be ‘one’, but how does this work out in practice in my family, church and among Christians that are around me. What does unity look like when we are just so different? What happens when conflict comes – can we learn to disagree agreeably?
