**In this Docs Outside the Box episode, Nii and Renée take on two hot-button topics - abortion and gun violence. In the wake of the overturning of Roe v Wade and Uvalde, they explore the consequences for women who are denied abortions and the impact of gun violence on children and teens in our country.
They also tackle the lesser known and understood issue of the disproportionate number of black residents that are dismissed from their medical programs and whether it is an admission or systemic problem. Nii and Renée unpack the studies that look at these issues.
