In this edition of FOCUS In Sound, we meet a Burroughs Wellcome Fund grantee who participated in the development of a remarkable new pathogen detection technology that may be vastly important in the detection and surveillance of COVID-19, among several other pathogens. He and his colleagues have just had a landmark paper published in Nature, describing the technology and its importance in the battle against the pandemic pathogen.
