What does it mean to be a saint? We often think of saints as a special group, but that’s a narrow view. In the Bible, all believers—everyone who calls on the name of Jesus—are considered saints. We’re not meant to divide ourselves by status or circumstance in the Church. Paul explains instead that through Christ, we’ve all received the title of "saints"—and we are one in this endeavor.As saints, we’ve been enriched in speech and knowledge, giving us a deeper understanding of God’s ways and the ability to express that understanding. We’ve been blessed with spiritual gifts for sharing, often best in small groups or one-on-one conversations. We've been made firm with a strength that doesn’t come from our own perfection but from God’s grace being perfected in us. He continues to reveal His heart for the world through us.So, how do we live up to the title of saint? Commit yourself fully. Strive to grow, consistently work, assess, and refresh your efforts. You’ve been given the name Saint. Embrace it wholeheartedly, knowing that the one who gave you this name will continue to bless and strengthen you.
