Many times, my own thoughts seem clouded. When I step away and take a nap, or do something physical or mundane, a new thought appears that seems to sweep the fog away.
It’s like trying to figure out one of those puzzles that are made out of metal or wood…trying, trying, trying…and then…AHA!…it falls into place.
There is actually a physical feeling of ‘YES!” This is how I know it’s right and I am free to proceed.
Phil, on our call this morning reminded to stay away from time travel, be in the present, to find the most clarity. So true!
Another consideration that Kathy brought up in her comments on the call is that our brains can become clouded with a multitude of ideas, because we are not willing to take action on them immediately! We create clutter by not making a decision to move forward or let it go.
How much more clear we would be if we receive a thought and immediately take action. DONE! Ready for the next thought. And whatever we are not ready to take on ourselves, to turn it over to Christ.
Also, knowing that life’s circumstances may feel like a heavy cloud, yet can be the means by which God shifts our view, changing the position of the clouds so that we can clearly see Heaven.
