Continuity, in the sense that we discussed today, is like the role each team member plays in a relay race.

If I do my part, I add to what has been created before me and I help perpetuate the forward motion of evolution.

Beyond a biological family, a business entity, or a church congregation, our actions and the changes we commit to making in our own lives, affect the fate of the world!

Just as the world came together when the Notre Dame Cathedral burned, or when the twin towers collapsed on 9/11, there are moments in our lives that create continuity of heart.

We are all in the mix together. Our eternal nature is to grow. And because we are one, when I grow, I give others permission to grow too.

I change the outcome of future generations of humankind because we are all brothers and sisters. We feel the pleasure of the accomplishments of others and we also feel the pain of disappointment, even when we are not directly related in any way.

• I am a leader and others are following me
• I see evolution as a process that I am part of
• I do what is required for the next stage of development
