Pain makes us jump.
The pain of staying the same is probably the biggest motivator in the beginning, to leap outside of an uncomfortable comfort zone.
But what if the fear of the unknown feels just as big as the fear in the present?
Sadly, most just keep trying with the same knowledge and the same fears. That tactic usually produces a one step forward, two steps back kind of result. Eventually, if this is the strategy, it feels futile to continue.
That’s why we have people walking around with no visible vitality. Zombies going through the motions of living but feeling like a corpse. Feeling neither the excitement of butterflies nor the gut-wrenching seed of doubt.
Thankfully, there are tools and practices to stimulate us to move when we are feeling equally fearful in the present and in anticipating the future!
Contact me at askwylene.com to learn more about these!
One great tool is to allow your senses to be stimulated beyond the normal everyday capacity. Senses like imagination, intuition, vision, inspiration and gut instinct lie dormant until they are stimulated by fear. Rather than just trying to think things through, tap into all the resources available to you.
Move out of zombie or even survival mode and into life mode!
Hold onto post experiences where you took action and you made it happen! Hold onto faith that you can do this! Make a change by seeing beyond the fear into success!
