“Normal” emotionally charged word? You decide.

My husband experienced 5 hours of memory loss a few years ago and we as a family were praying for ‘normal’.

The conclusion I came to in my 90 second meditation today is that ‘normal’ means predictable.

We are constantly changing and growing as long as we are living. On the call today, we established that growth is a given, so ‘normal’ looks different depending on the stage of change we are in. Normal doesn’t mean going back to the way things were, it means getting to a place where we can predict what’s likely to happen.

So are you predictable? And are you authentic in your predictability or do you do your best to have people see you a certain way.

Do people know you for your unique differences? Or do you try to fit in so well that you disappear? Some people try so hard to be different, that they actually become something that is not normal to them.

What is normal for you?

Authenticity invites authenticity. If I take my mask off, others feel safe to do the same. Society may say that we have to be a certain way to be acceptable. But in reality, the most attractive people are the ones who let their true light and uniqueness show!

New Ideas to Consider

  • I am unique already, I don’t even have to try!
  • I know me best
  • I am happiest when I am being me
  • I am most attractive when I am authentic
