I’ve noticed that when I am in a situation where something needs to change, that the first go-to is for me to suffer. It’s almost like when I see that my situation is suffering, I believe the answer is cutting back or changing the things that have been working in the past. I think: “there is no time for that” or “there is no money for that.” In order to find some semblance of control, I make a choice to give up something I had control over in another area.

Really what I should be doing is leveraging the systems that are working! Possibly making some tweaks to improve my situation, or adding a completely new system for the current situation I am in.

We have many resources that can help us create systems of success that really work. Mentors, youtube, trial and error, etc.

We can create systems in all areas of our lives: health, wealth, money, relationships, and especially running a household or business.

The difference I see between habits and systems is that habits help us maintain the status quo and systems help us create a different result for the future.

Math is a system. Do the steps in order and you get the correct answer. Systems of success are no different. it takes identifying the steps and doing them in order to get the outcome we desire. It may take a few tries, but it’s possible to find a system that guarantees the predicted outcome, every time, just like a math problem.

New Ideas to Consider

  • I am confident in my systems
  • I consistently implement my systems for guaranteed success every time
  • I easily identify the gaps in my process, and implement a system to fix it
  • I am persistent in following my system and the result takes care of itself
