Jesus Brought Power:
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19). He was speaking of divine blood.
Later, just before Jesus ascended back to Heaven, He once again instructed His followers, And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17,18).

The Early Church Used the Blood

In Acts 3, the divine blood went into operation through Peter and John for a crippled man who had been lame from his mother’s womb and lay at the gate Beautiful. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk (Acts 3:6).
