And there followed him [Jesus] great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan (Matthew 4:25). Great things had to be taking place for all of those people to be following Jesus, and they were. He was healing people, and His fame spread far and wide.
A woman who had suffered with an issue of blood for twelve years just touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, and her miracle took place. It is the first record we have of someone touching His garment and being healed. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour (Matthew 9:22). Her faith was divine faith, and it brought about her miracle. Everyone, remember, is given a measure of faith.
Healing for the Mind And his [Jesus’] fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatic, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them (Matthew 4:24). Jesus heals and casts out devils.
