While supporting the economy is thoroughly plausible in an economic downturn, what happened to all those "shovel-ready" projects we were told were in the pipeline. Turns out, it was a dribble. But if we want a lasting legacy from the billions being handed out, the Govt had better start building projects, and jobs, real soon!
