The fifth message in this series dives into Jesus' fifth statement that he made on the cross stating, "It is Finished." The fourth message in this series dives into Jesus' fourth statement that he made on the cross stating, "I'm thirsty." This statement shows how Jesus, being fully God, but also fully human, needed help. Being God, we could have taken care of being thirsty all on his own, but as an example of what we all should do while experiencing hard times, he asked for help. Listen in to hear how this simple statement can change how you process your own Bad Day.
The third part of this message is about how when Jesus was going through His worst day (John 19 :25, 26), He made sure to take care of those closes to Him. In the fourth part, Jesus, makes a fourth statement by questioning God, asking "My God, My God, why has thou forsaken me?". This gives us the permission to ask God the tough questions. While we still trust in Him, in His promises, and even though this life is hard it is just momentarily and we will be in heaven soon. So what do we do? 1.) Learn while we asking why. 2.) Love while asking why. 3.) Worship while asking why.
The second message in this series dives into Jesus' second statement that he made on the cross stating, "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise." This statement is full of promise and hope for the broken. Within this statement, we find Jesus giving us stability (I assure you), support (you will be with me) and hope for the future (paradise). Listen in to hear how this simple statement can change how you process your own Bad Day.
The first message in this series focuses on the first statement that Jesus said while on the cross. "Father forgive them" is such a powerful statement, not only for what it means but where Jesus was at while saying it. In this message our Pastor talks about the unique power forgiveness has for us.

God is generous with us and the greatest act of generosity was Him giving His Son. It was intentional. Having a plan for generosity is the first step in doing it intentionally. What is your plan to be generous? What is the difference between giving out of Compassion and giving out of spontaneity? We must be moved by compassion to act on sowing seeds of generosity with our time, talent, and treasure.
Generosity is of the heart. God so loved the world that He gave. When you create a heart of generosity you are giving the love of God. We are called to give selflessly, enthusiastically, and to give what we feel called to. Our giving is honored by God, so long that it comes from a generous heart and not out of expectancy for God to do things in our life.
In this message, we talk about why people don't like talking about generosity. Allowing us to also address why people struggle with giving. Giving is an important part in our walk with Christ, but it is not beneficial to us when it is done out of the feeling of obligation.
