The program puts mental health professionals on call to assist first responders on calls that involve persons with mental problems. The city will work with COMCARE to keep eight mental health professionals on call.  Mayor Brandon Whipple called it "a pretty awesome program" during his interview Mondays with the Mayor on Steve and Ted in the Morning.
