Our fourth message in the seven deadly sins is envy. Envy is aimed at people who have what we want and is driven by our own pride and insecurities. It would be better if that person was not in our way. Throughout scripture when it is not dealt with, it drives people to kill. But Christ is able to turn our envy in zeal for him and his name when we reflect on the evil of envy and all that we have in Christ.
