Aaron Judge hit his 62nd HR in Texas last night. The fan who caught it is an investment banker and he still has the ball. Boomer didn’t like that YES didn’t really show the guy who caught the ball. The Braves beat the Marlins so the Mets will face the Padres at Citi Field starting Friday. Gio does not give a crap about the batting title for Jeff McNeil. Gio seems especially angry this morning. All he is focused on is the Mets winning the playoffs. Boomer can’t believe we don’t care about McNeil going for the batting title. Jerry is here for his first update of the day but first we talk about the Mets upcoming series against the Padres. Jerry has John Sterling’s HR call of HR #62. We also heard from Aaron Judge and Aaron Boone. Gerrit Cole broke Ron Guidry’s single season strikeout record. Brandon Nimmo had a solid double header yesterday for the Mets.
