Hour 1:
Jerry and Sal begin their Tuesday morning show discussing the Jets QB situation now that Mike White is cleared for contact and has been named the starter for the final two games of the season. They also wonder if Zach Wilson really still has a chance to be part of the Jets’ future plans. CLo is back and the guys look forward to his upcoming trip to a cold Hershey Park. Mike White is back as the Jets QB and Robert Saleh says the report about the Jets being ready to move on from Zach Wilson is pure speculation. Pete Carroll says he and Geno Smith are both motivated to beat the Jets this weekend. The Chargers clinched a playoff spot on Monday night, Tua is back in concussion protocol and the Nets have now won 9 in a row. In the final segment of the hour, Sal has to apologize for something he said yesterday.
Hour 2:
Hour two begins with Sal and Jerry wondering why the NBA regular season isn’t as popular as it used to be. A team like the Nets should be more popular and who is in a worse position, the Jets or the Patriots. CLo returns for an update and begins with the Jets returning to Mike White at QB. Robert Saleh continues to support his embattled young QB who is being benched again. Sal says Giants fans are too easy on Daniel Jones and Jets fans are too hard on Zach Wilson. How much better would Daniel Jones be with better weapons and how Jones compares to other QBs around the league. In the final segment of the hour, the guys discuss how to evaluate QBs.
Hour 3:
Hour 3 begins with Jerry and Sal discussing the latest on Carlos Correa. One report says it’s a 55-45 chance Correa becomes a Met. Sal says it’s closer to a 98% chance. A caller says Brian Daboll has a chance to be New York’s “best fat guy” and Jerry says he still has to pass Rex Ryan as New York football’s most successful large coach. CLo returns for an update and before he begins, the guys discuss paying garbage collectors and disposing of cardboard boxes. The Nets are winners of 9 straight and everything is clicking right now. Did the Jets defense quit last week? In the final segment of the hour, Sal shares some perspective on being bald. And doesn’t know who Neil deGrasse Tyson is. Plus, Jerry and Sal debate making a long-term commitment to Daniel Jones.
Hour 4:
The final hour begins with Jerry and Sal discussing how the Giants have exceeded expectations this season. Jerry says teams with low expectations have made postseason runs before but Sal still doesn’t see how this team is capable of it. CLo returns for his final update of the day and has sound from Brandon Staley after the Chargers clinched a playoff spot. Why are teams limited to three challenges if they are all successful? What if the refs make six mistakes? Sal still believes Matt Ryan wasn’t the problem for the Colts. Can Mike White win the Jets QB job in 2023 these next few weeks? Saleh says one game at a time. In the final segment of the show, Sal explains why he isn’t as high on the Giants as Jerry is.
