Hour 1:

Jerry and Sal begin their packed Friday show previewing this morning’s “Moment of the Year” vote. The Titans started recent addition Josh Dobbs in a loss to the Cowboys and that leads into a discussion of just how crazy this year in the NFL has been. As we approach the end of the regular season, which teams are real Super Bowl contenders? Eddie sent in a question for Jerry and Sal to ask Neil deGrasse Tyson. Moment of the Day number 1: Gio as Wayne Randazzo after Wayne says “Coca-Cola corner”. Peter Schwartz is here with us to close out the year. The Knicks lost their fifth straight game falling in San Antonio last night. Sal says the team stinks. Pele passed away and Peter teaches Jerry and Sal the correct way to pronounce “Pele”. The Cowboys beat the Titans last night. One of Dak Prescott’s interceptions was a bad throw but the other was not his fault at all. Sal isn’t a big fan of JJ Watt. The Rangers lost to the Lightning in a shootout and the Islanders beat the Blue Jackets. In the final segment of the hour, we reveal Moment of the Day 2: a caller from Mississippi says Boomer is a loudmouth piece of ****. Then Jerry and Sal play Cool Games with an assist from Al.

Hour 2:

Hour two begins with Moment of the Day finalist number 3: Al’s Miscommunication at Fliegs’s wedding. Sal lays out the rules for the “Perfect Parlay” and then the guys discuss the Knicks loss to the Spurs. Jerry’s question for the Knicks is what’s next? Sal says they’re a little better than they’ve been but still need a star before they actually matter. If Trae Young is available, Sal is interested. Moment of the Day finalist number 4: Mark Chernoff became a music DJ over the summer. Peter returns for an update and begins with the Knicks loss to the Spurs. Jerry likes the Cowboys’ alternate white helmets that they debuted last night. Moment of the Day finalist number 5: Gio singing as Mike and the Mad Dog as the Commodores after both WFAN legends called the Commanders the Commodores. In the final segment of the hour, we bring one of Sal’s overnight staples, “Perfect Parlay”, to the mornings ahead of week 17 in the NFL.

Hour 3:

American Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson joins the show to begin hour 3. He discusses life, the universe, whether life is predetermined, what happens when we die, the existence of aliens and how sports really are games of inches. Plus, Eddie Scozzare sends in a very specific question and Jerry asks NDT about his Yankees fandom. Moment of the Day finalist number 6: Torts kicked in the face. In the final segment of the hour, Bob Papa, the voice of the Giants, joins the show to share the story of being in the Mall of America with an active shooter last weekend and the football Giants season/upcoming game as well. Add Bob to the list of people who are in awe of the job Brian Daboll has done with the Giants roster this season.

Hour 4:

The final hour begins with Moment of the Day finalist number 7: Cranking the new horn at UBS Arena. Sal explains his view of the Giants and why he gives them credit but doesn’t see them as a “real playoff team”. Moment of the Day finalist number 8: Caveman Jerry. We narrow down the finalists. Peter returns for his final update of the day and we all try Sal’s ketchup on a Cheez-It combo. The guys debate how to pronounce “Pele” again and Sal uses an old Adam Sandler bit as his proof. We make our week 17 NFL picks as Yussef tries to catch up to Jerry in order to go to the Super Bowl. In the final segment of the show for the year 2022, Jerry reveals the results of the vote for the Boomer & Gio “Moment of the Year”.
