Hour 1:

Gio is back from a quick weekend trip to Las Vegas. He played golf out there and hung out at a place called Stadium Swim at Circa. Henrik Lundqvist was on Gio’s plane. He was in first class, Gio was not. The woman next to him kept waking him up to go to the bathroom. Kodai Senga had more problems pitching on regular rest and that’s going to be an issue this season. The Mets hit 4 solo HRs in their loss yesterday, but they did nothing offensively on Friday or Saturday. Francisco Lindor has been terrible and said he understands the fans booing him. Mets fans were pumped last week thinking the Mets were back and then they got swept at home. C-Lo is in for Jerry and starts with the Yankees beating the Dodgers 4-1. Anthony Volpe had a HR. Aaron Judge injured his toe making an incredible catch on Saturday. He is getting a toe x-ray. Nestor Cortes is likely headed to the IL with a shoulder injury. Giancarlo Stanton and Josh Donaldson returned and hit a few HRs. Tommy Pham hit 2 HRs but it wasn’t enough as the Mets lost and were swept by the Blue Jays. The Heat beat the Nuggets to even the series at 1-1. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about a guy named Gabe Plotkin being a minority owner of the Charlotte Hornets and now they want to take over the whole thing and Michael Jordan is involved. The fan sites call Plotkin a ‘financial terrorist’. We also took calls from Mets fans about Francisco Lindor being terrible. Hour 2:

Hour 3:

24 years ago today was Larry Johnson’s 4 point play. Gio thinks as a Knicks nation, we should be rooting for the Heat because they are like the 90’s Knicks. That’s what Gio is doing. We broke down how the Heat were able to beat the Nuggets despite 41 from Nikola Jokic. Boomer is impressed by Erik Spoelstra. Matt Martin took Winnie to a Mets game this weekend. He said he had a great time but Gio doesn’t believe that. C-Lo returns for an update and Gio wonders what it was like when C-Lo was out in Vegas with Fliegelman and JJ. Hour 4:

The Mets got swept this weekend and Francisco Lindor is in a huge slump. They only combined for 1 run in the first two games of the series. Daniel Vogelbach has also been terrible. Boomer said ownership has to do something to make these players feel uncomfortable. Gio said they have been bringing up young guys from the minors.
