After nearly 20 years in the corporate HR space, climbing to the C-suite, Nick Goblirsch was laid off just before Christmas, which SUCKS, but this sudden life-changing moment prompted him to work for himself.

However, before this, in 2015, he started a podcast The Dependent Independent Podcast and from that learned the strength of social media marketing and self-branding, which is now the backbone of his solo business ventures.
