• Whatever you do, if you do it for the praise of men, that is your reward.
• Jesus says, there is a better reward: "And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."
• Close your door, pray in secret - that will reveal who you're praying for.

Prayer is not a Christian duty. We gain Christ through prayer.

1. Don't pray religiously to get the favor of men.
2. Don't pray religiously to get the favor of God.

We don't have to manipulate God to get him to answer our prayers.
