I recently learned that time is emotions. I say this because our emotions (the way we feel) drives our day and that in turns drives how we manage our time.
If you start to look at time as emotions and that is what controls your time, you will make sure what takes your emotions are things that you really want to accomplish.
There are three things that takes our attention (emotion) other people say or what they are doing. Fear is another thing that takes away time, we stay focused on why we are fearful and try to understand why we are afraid etc. The next area is, we focus on what makes us happy. For example, instead of working out (even though we know its good for us) we focus on the pain and wants pleasure instead so we look for ways to get that boost. Some people may go drinking (causing more harm than good) or some might go out dancing or whatever they need to make them happy. They neglect the task at hand and their emotions drive their time and there is no time management system in place to keep them on task.
Hope you grasp the idea that time is emotion. Once you do, I believe you will start managing your time better.
