The Preds were active in free agency, and SCOTT HARTNELL IS NOT PLAYING ON THE FOURTH LINE. The Grizzlies Grit & Grind era may be done, and it's probably a good thing.
Another day in the salt mine. The Preds roar back to tie the series at 2, and Nashville's public image continues to soar. Plus, we talked about the NBA Finals so none of our other shows had to.
Our beloved hockey team is in the Stanley Cup Final. We built this show accordingly. Plus our new friends from Jackson jumped on board.
The bye week has come and gone, and a quick back-to-back with mixed results is something to talk about. Also, we're joined by Tony from Hockey Wilderness. He's.... he's.... somewhere between tolerable and likable.
The all-star break is over, and with it brings a tough week of hockey that ended with a 40+ shot effort in a 1-0 loss. But hey, we got Vern Fiddler! Right?
We've crossed the halfway point of the season, and the team is finally hitting their stride. We all feel better now, right?
It's 2017. The Nashville Predators won a game down 2-0 on a comeback started by a goal from Cody McLeod, Derek Grant, and Harry Zolnierczyk. That tells you a lot about this team's injury woes.
It's time to expect something better from a "win now" team, and that includes having more than one competent goaltender on the active NHL roster.
GOOD NEWS: The team is playing great. BAD NEWS: The audio from this episode isn't great. But hey, it's a welcome tradeoff.
Remember when the team was in a funk until like January? Well, our boys are at it again! Let's get through this the best we can with whatever dignity we can. And when you're wearing a yellow/gold helmet, dignity is in short supply.

Against the better wishes of our own comment section, the Predcast has resumed regular programming. We took a glance at what the opening night rosters will look like, and talked about how we didn't spend out summer caring about the World Cup of Hockey.
Season 5 begins with the annual off-season episode. And lucky for us, the team continues to get more entertaining. P.K. Subban now plays for the team we cover. Glorious.

So just how good can Colton Sissons be? We're asking ourselves that. Also, please don't let Filip Forsberg fight anyone. When he eventually gets good at it... maybe, but not yet.
The team is on a march through the schedule right now, burning everything down. Except the Devils, because well... they are of the fire themselves.
We rambled about the team performing better, and getting points. It hasn't been pretty, but points were earned. That's good. We'll take it.
Our longest episode in quite a while. We ranted about the local media, ranted about the goaltending, ranted about other things, but weren't upset about anything. It's kinda cool.

It's our last episode for 2015. Thanks for all of you for another year, and our most successful one to date. We covered the team's 2-2-0 week vs. Boston, Chicago, and Colorado. But don't worry, we still found things to whine about while praising most everyone on the roster under 25.

We praised the hell out of the Colton Sissons, Austin Watson, and Gabriel Bourque line. We talked about how good Calle Jarnkrok has been this week. And somehow we still found things to complain about.
In this episode, we yap about the team's west coast trip, getting thumped by STL, and the name of the sport itself. 10/10 would listen to again.
