In this War on Poverty Conference presentation, Sarah Reber discusses the history and legacy of Title 1, the 1965 legislation which sought to improve academic achievement among disadvantaged youth. The Center for Poverty Research hosted the conference at UC Davis on Jan. 9 and 10, 2014.
Reber is an Associate Professor of Public Policy in the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
