On Thursday's Morning Focus, Pat Flynn was joined by Novel author, Angie Togher.
Angie's first novel was self published in 2021 and sold 500 copies, 6 of which were bought by Clare libraries. Her second novel 'The Hollow' is set partly in Kilkee and is about a group of women in their late 20's whose school days come back to play a part in their present lives.
Angie discussed her passion for reading and writing growing up and highlighted how she had gotten a lot of her ideas for her books while she was out on walks.
Angie also explained that she isn't writing for the money and mentioned she had donated €1000 to Pieta House with the profits from her first book.
