CATU – Community Action Tenants Union – Clare are holding a special documentary screening this coming weekend. Rent Strike will be screened at Treacy’s West County Hotel in Ennis on Saturday evening. The documentary focuses on the national movement in the early 1970s, in which hundreds of thousands of tenant withheld rent as a form of protest.
