Rishi: Atharva

This mighty one (asura) shines among the gods. The desires of the King Varuna becomes true. Empowered by the mantras, I lead this man away from wrath of the forceful one.

O King Varuna, obeisance to your many. O forceful one, you note carefully all the evil deeds. I have progressed along with many others. This person will live for a hundred years as yours.

For King Varuna, dharma is Truth, I will release you from the punishment of Varuna, for the many crooked and false things uttered by your tongue. 

I will also release you from the great and universal flood. O forceful one, speak about our teachings here to your brothers. Understand well the potent words uttered here by us.
