For most of us, life right now isn’t how we planned it. In ways big and small, we’ve faced losses that brought disappointment, discouragement, dismay. Yet even when all seems silent, God has not forgotten us. Let’s consider this ancient biblical story in the book of Ruth, and perhaps we, too, can find hope.

As we begin in Ruth 1, we’ll find it’s OK dwell in the bitter for a bit to remember the truths that will help us grow.
