In this sermon we ask the question: What does covenant mean, and how does God renew covenant with His people after their tragic sin. Does the golden calf change Gods plan and purposes, or does it provide the backdrop for God to showcase His mercy and restore and renew His people by His Word.

We have to understand that we are reading laws to ancient Israel through our cultural lenses, but we must believe that God’s revelation in these laws is sufficient to teach us about justice and just laws for society.

What does it look like to fear him and offer him acceptable worship today?
