In this episode, we start out with a few shout outs and some current running news. Topics include high schooler Gary Martin running a 3:57 mile at his district meet to break a 57 year old Jim Ryun record, the new NAZ Elite team structure/business strategy, and a salute to those who graduated both high school and college this past week.

We then delve into Xavier getting back into his training and how he mentally got back to being motivated to train as a result of being of service to others in coaching his athletes. We also go into Xavier's goal of running a 10k later this year faster than when he competed at the D1 NCAA XC meet a decade ago.

Lorin then presents what he has been working on - consulting at work, getting involved with non-profits in Flagstaff, Summer adventures to Glacier National Park, and training for the California International Marathon.

We conclude with a brief introduction to the book "Winning" by Tim Grover. Which we highly recommend as summer reading to get you ready to completely dominate your goals the back half of 2022. From timgrover.com "Tim S. Grover is the CEO of ATTACK Athletics, Inc., founded in 1989. World-renowned for his legendary work with elite champions and Hall of Famers, including Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, and hundreds other NFL, MLB, NBA, and Olympic athletes, he is the preeminent authority on the science and art of physical and mental dominance and achieving excellence."

Now is the time to win. Are you in?
