God is righteous and we are not. That is the fundamental, unavoidable, inescapable problem humanity faces. But God, in grace, has provided a solution: His Son. Jesus lived the faithful life we did not and died a propitiatory death, satisfying the wrath of God that we deserve. His faithfulness in life and death brings us both redemption and justification. Because of Jesus, God can be both just and justifier of all who believe!
