So this is an amalgamation of my thoughts on both the EA and Ubisoft conferences. It's not exactly 3 items from each, but meh.

  1. SimCity
Hell yes. Let me stress here that I am not talking about SimCity Social, the Facebook game. I'm talking about the full-on PC return of the classic series. I played the old games, mostly SimCity 2000, so freaking much as a kid and I'm definitely excited to check this new one out.

  2. Crysis 3
I never played the first game, but I did like the demo for Crysis 2, and that's all I played of that one. This one I'm mostly intrigued by the setting. It's essentially a combination of the settings of the first 2 games; a jungle and a city. It takes place in a city that's been jungle-ized by aliens or something somehow. Looks kinda neat. Kinda.

  3. Assassin's Creed III
Again, here's another series where I never played the first game. I enjoyed the second one a lot, though not as much as some people. This game is set during the American Revolutionary War, and the atmosphere and set pieces of this game just seem so fun to me. Plus, hacking up redcoats is always a good time.

  4. Watch Dogs
So, I, along with most of the rest of the world, found out this game existed about 30 minutes ago. Normally, that means you have no information except for a teaser trailer that barely even shows the game's logo. Not the case here. This demo was actually almost completely gameplay. It's very surprising to see a game be so far along before there's any information out about it. It seems like most media outlets would have started hyping the holy hell out of this game about a year ago. It looks like a mixture of Grand Theft Auto and The Matrix.

THINGS I DON'T CARE ABOUT

Battlefield 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic expansions, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, FIFA 13, UFC, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Just Dance 4, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Far Cry 3

GRAY AREAS

Ok so there were a couple of things that I can't say I don't care about at all, but also can't say that I'm all that interested.

  1. Dead Space 3
The first game was all right, and I never played the second one. The thing that turns me off about this game is the co-op. Didn't we learn anything from Resident Evil 5? Co-op does not belong in survival horror. It sort of takes the sense of trying to survive and being horrified out of it. Also, what's with all the swearing in this game? I mean, shit.

  2. Madden NFL 13
These days I'm definitely more of an NCAA Football fan.

GET READY FOR SONY!
