As we begin chapter three James takes on a certain group of people who have appointed themselves as masters of Christianity. This is why he warns that they will face a more strict judgment because they will be judged by their own measure or standards.--Certainly there are sobering words here for teachers, yet it appears he is going beyond that scope.
