There seem to always be people around you who want you to change or do something for them. It is framed in such a way that it will be a benefit for you, but often we find like Paul in Acts 21 that it did not. How can we tell the difference between those who pitch things to us as if they are supporting us, but in the end it was themselves they were supporting?
How many people in your life want you to change something about you? Should you? What things can we change without compromising or losing ourselves, and what things are we supposed to stand firm in? Will you gain more people to support you if you do change?
These and other questions are in our focus today as we look at teachings from Paul in 1 Corinthians 9 and 15, and then see what happened to Paul when He came to Jerusalem in Acts 21.
