It's best to have an example to follow when we try and pattern our behavior in a way the Word of God teaches. Most examples of prophecy in the Bible contain revelation knowledge of things past or things future, but the simple gift of prophecy does not. It took me a little while but I found one that is a close to the simple gift of prophecy as I could find, so lets look into this and use it as our example to follow.
