On this Transfiguration Sunday we see how Jesus, in Luke's account, was "speaking of his departure (exodus), which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem." This account launches Jesus on a trajectory towards Jerusalem where the goal of the exodus - freedom from slavery - will be accomplished.
