What did you want to be when you were young? Did you want to be a firefighter, doctor, or police officer? Often as kids we can dream about what we want to be, but as we get older the reality of that question can become daunting. Its especially true of teenagers who are not only trying to figure out what they want to do, but who they are going to be. The culture around them is telling them that everything is now up for grabs and there are no truths to follow. More than ever as a church we ought to pray for our youth and praise God for his work in their lives! Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life” and what every person, whether teenager or not, is to hear the life transforming news of Jesus! We are called to put away distractions that could lead us astray and fix our minds and eyes on the truth of the Word of God as we live out the example of Jesus.
