No man knoweth the measure of himself. These are the words of the great ascended master, El Morya. What they mean is this: there is not one among us who could not benefit from the refiner’s fire. We all have lessons to learn, karma to balance and cosmic appointments to keep. These are the initiations we face on the Homeward trek, and they come to all of us. Why? Because how else can God and our Higher Self know when we are ready to advance? Our works must be tested to see if they are made of sufficient light, purity and proper intention. And when you decide to treat each test, each initiation, as an opportunity to make progress, you will come to the place where gratitude replaces endurance, and where joy replaces suffering. It’s all part of the plan, and we need never travel the path of initiation alone. Those who have gone before to show the way – the ascended masters – are always here to help. We can call on the angels, too. As the masters say: May we pass all our tests!
