GOA has been on the cutting edge of defending the rights of American Gun Owners for many years and they continue to do so to this day. Not only does GOA work to defend existing rights, but they continue to work on expanding the rights of Americans in the areas of gun ownership. At Appleseed, we do not run an information or lobbying organization, we run a growing organization that agressively seeks out Americans and asks them to get off the couch and become defenders of their rights and freedoms. We are concentrating our efforts in getting folks energized and up and working. We do not try and tell them how to do this specifically as there are dozens, even hundreds of organizations out there already set up to do this. We tell folks that Gun Owners of America is one the organizations Americans should be working with to make sure their rights and freedoms do not evaporate in the coming years.
