The title above is from a childrens my wife had. I read  the book one of the many times I visited her classroom when she was teaching kindergarten and first grade. I was very surprised to see the book back then and to read all of the accurate details in it. History, especially anything to do with The American Revolutionary War and the formation of the nation has been slowly but surely chipped away and discarrded in American classrooms in the last four decades. I picked it up last week when I was cleaning the bookshlves and thinning out the library in our home and while reading it again, realized it had a lot of ideas that could be used in discussion of American Heritage, history, and also in our current American situations.
