When the seventy returned from their mission -Luke 10-1-12-, they were rejoicing over what they did. Jesus, however, directed their joy to focus rather on their status--that their names were recorded in heaven -v. 20-. Just before this, Jesus declared that the source of their power over demons was due to the fact that Satan was now a defeated foe. IMO, that victory was secured when Jesus, as the second Adam, resisted Satan's temptation.
