From the moment sin entered the world through Adam in the Garden of Eden, there has been alienation and hostility—both horizontally between people and vertically between every sinner and the triune God of the universe. But as we’ll consider together in our study of Ephesians 2, reconciliation with God is made possible through Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man.
