We will talk about what's hot and how these insane people are killing to get their child a gift. Lastly, I wanted to share a bit from my other show The Crew. Ugh, I am so tired of receiving bad service. I mean unless I am cooking a burger in my own home, I no longer can get food I order. How many times have you went through a drive-thru and didn't get the food you have ordered? And furthermore, didn't realize it until you get home. I had a funny and aggrevating visit at a local Wendy's and the ridiculousness is just something I had to share.

Saturday night we had a brief show about the NOT GUILTY verdict in the Tryavon Martin/ George Zimmerman trial. I was surprised at the amount of callers and chatroom visitors. None like this show has ever seen before. My cohost and I were called the n-word and different variations of the term in our chatroom and during the live call ins. We were shocked but not surprised. We are going to try again to express OUR views on the trial and the verdict. We will have a 30min discussion with only my cohost, I and featured guest. The show directly following this one will be for anyone that has opinion and can speak without malice or ignorance.

First I will say I know and understand that the police are here to serve and protect. But, some of them take it too far. With that being said I know racial profiling is serious and still a problem in today's society. I was able to find some humor in what happened to me this past weekend. I had the opportunity to watch the documentary Bully recently, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Not because I didn't think bullying existed, but because I saw myself in just about all the stories. Bullying is so prevalent in today's culture, I often wonder how I made it. Free Comic Book Day is an annual event held each year on the 1st Saturday in May. This year it falls on May 4th. FCBD is an event where the makers and distributors produce comics for the fanboys and girls FREE! The Five By Five will make our way to two of our local comic book stores this year. My nephew will be my guest co-host. It will be his first time going and I want to see how he feels about all the fanfare.
I often get irritated by people who do not know how to use the sidewalks. And this week's True Story is just that, it's funny and serious. Because, I think people need to show a little common courtesy and respect. It's unfortunate that we live in a society that rarely does.
I finally get to release my inner comic book geek. I just saw the new trailer for Man of Steel and it looks amazing. The revamp of Superman is coming to theaters June 16, 2013. I thought it would be nice to talk about all the various incarnations of Superman on the big and little screens. A fan of comics from an early age, I think I have seen just about all the Superman themed movies, television shows and cartoons. This week's True Story Tuesday is about funny pronunciations . I do not claim to be an english professor. But, I do find some humor in how some people incorrectly pronounce simple words. It makes it all that much funnier when It comes from someone you don't particularly care for. Here are some of my encounters with a few people and words they obviously shouldn't try to pronounce. I made a post on Facebook yesterday (facebook.com/davidatl) about an occurence I had while out grocery shopping. A friend of mine replied to me that I have the funniest stories. I looked back through some old post and she was right. Another friend said I was the Pied Piper for crazy people. He may have a point. So, the birth of True Story Tuesday came about. This particular "True Story" came in the form of A lady who showed out at the grocery store yesterday. And she just couldn't help herself when she addressed me by saying I was "All Chocolatey!"
