We are better together than we could ever be apart. There are enumerable tales, and unquestionable examples that prove this to be true. When we can get past ourselves, and see the power resident in working as a unit, unimaginable possibilities exist.
But very often we let individuality undermine the power of “WE.” Very often, we allow our own agenda or goals or perspective or PAST to blind us to the possibility of contributing to the greater good and greater goals able to be accomplished when “WE” work as a “WE.” In nearly every endeavor imaginable, We > Me. And though a multitude of cultural examples exist, from team sports, to military campaigns, to your loved one’s conspiring to hook you up with random people, Church should be the place that this sentiment is most readily displayed.
