What is the Church? Now, some of us grew up in church our entire lives, and so it was just there, a part of the family rhythm. A part of the weekly routine. Some of us came to faith late in life, and with no one to tell us exactly what the church is meant to be, we just jumped into the stream of what was “normal,” any pushback or questions we had signaled division rather than genuine curiosity. But most of us, whether we grew up in church or we’re experiencing church for the first time, have reduced church to a weekly routine that will have little impact on this world.
