n a culture that was the center of Christendom there are many people filling sanctuary seats who say they’ve encountered and embraced Jesus, but their lives look no different than if they'd never known Him. Yet, scripture seems to indicate that this is impossible. That you cannot encounter and embrace Christ, and remain as you are; or go on unchanged. Scripture seems to indicate that a true encounter with Jesus produces an undeniable transformation. A transformation so thorough, that who we were before we encountered Him is no longer recognizable. This is exactly what happens with our friend, the man born blind.
