Every election cycle it seems we find ourselves caught up in a cyclone of expectations. We have a tendency to believe that the next political leader will be the one to fix all the problems we currently face. Inevitably we are let down, but in this struggle is a deep truth is revealed. We all desire a great leader. One who is benevolent and just. Is there a leader who can be these things for us? In Psalm 110 we have perhaps the only true hope for that great leader revealed to us.
